Maintenance
The Mitsubishi Jet Towel™ can be cleaned very easily
because of its smooth, rounded surfaces.

The hand drying area
(the trough) of the Mitsubishi Jet Towel™ is coated with
an alcohol-resistant layer.
As of the anti-microbial properties that run through the material
itself, you can use alcohol-based cleaners to clean the trough
regularly (once a week). The remaining part of
the Mitsubishi Jet Towel™ can be cleaned with a
normal wet cloth.
Water drops that are blown from your hands go trough the drain hose and will be collected in the drain tank at the base of the hand dryer. The drain tank has the capacity to hold approximately 800 uses. If the tank is left unattended for longer periods of time, the water will vent slowly onto the floor leaving the dryer operational. In order to prevent overflow and growth of bacteria and fungi, it is advised to empty the drain tank once a week.
In order to prevent the drain hose from getting clogged it is recommended to flush it once a month with some water (200 ml). Furthermore it is recommendable to clean the lifetime filter, which protects the motor from dust and debris, occasionally. See schemes below:
1. Emptying the drain
tank 2. Flushing the drain tank 3.

4. Removing air-filter 5. Vacuuming air-filter 6. Placing back air-filter

With these minor maintenance tasks, your Mitsubishi Jet
Towel™ can have a product life of at
least 7 years based upon
a 1000 users a day!
