The Mitsubishi Jet Towel™ … Drying your hands in less then 10 seconds!


The Mitsubishi Jet Towel™ features the most advanced "dual-jet" technology. This "dual-jet" technology, first developed in 1993 by engineers from Mitsubishi Electric, produces a powerful air current (288 kph) to wipe the water literally off both sides of the hands. Your hands are completely dry in less then 10 seconds.


Brushless DC motor
The secret to delivering such powerful streams of air lies in the motor. The Mitsubishi Jet Towel™ is equipped with a brushless DC motor. This motor makes it possible to obtain high-speed airflows (80 mtr/s) in a manner of milliseconds. The motor features highly durable permanent magnets to handle the load of repeated high-speed operation. The electricity supplied to the motor is precisely controlled, to deliver forceful high speed fan rotation, while the special Mitsubishi Electric hyper-nozzles are optimally positioned and angled in rows to create a powerful film of air that quickly blasts water from the user's hands.

The motor that is built into the Mitsubishi Jet Towel™ generates highly efficient and continuous airflows. This ensures fast, equilateral airflow running from the inlets, through the air ducts towards the patented hyper nozzles. The powerful brushless motor is capable of driving "Jet blasts" of air at 288 kph over the back and front of the hands, drying them completely in 8 - 10 seconds.

As the Mitsubishi Jet Towel™ is equipped with a brushless DC motor, no brush-motor wear and tear occurs. This unlike conventional electric motors, where the brushes are in contact with the rotor shaft, resulting in resistance. This innovative and superior technology, allows the Mitsubishi Jet Towel™ to boast a lifespan of at least 7 years!

'hyper nozzles'
The 'dual jet' technology described above, in combination with new arc-shaped slit nozzles produce an even airflow distribution on both sides of the hands for fast, efficient and effective hand drying. The Mitsubishi hyper nozzles are located on both sides of the Mitsubishi Jet towels™ mouth, enabling the hand dryer to dry both hands on either side.  As the hyper nozzles are densely distributed, gaps in the range of the airflow are eliminated. This makes it tougher for water to remain on user's hands. This ensures that all water droplets on your hands are blasted off instantly. Many other hand dryers do have these gaps in their airflow coverage making them inefficient and ineffective in drying your hands.

The new hyper-nozzles feature advanced Jet Stream Control Technology developed by Mitsubishi Electric (patent pending). This technology resolves the problem of mutual noise interference between air currents, reducing the noise level of the Mitsubishi Jet Towel™ to an impressive 59 dB. This makes the Mitsubishi Jet Towel™ one of the quietest hand dryers in the world!

Finally great care has been taken to angle the air nozzles and position the sensors to prevent any water splashing upwards.
